We've had our Webb threads, and those for Gabe and the ilk, but now it's time for another classic! Suzy Favor-Hamilton. According to a home-page link:

A three-time Olympian, Favor Hamilton realizes her participation will bring up a burning question: Will she train and attempt to earn a berth in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing? She said the possibility is there.

She is up there in the pantheon of iconic Ami runners, for many reasons, but I'd sure love to see her out there again!!

It would be interesting (to me, at least) to see what she could do -- coming back to that level would certainly a challenge, to say the least. I think she has not competed since 2004 season -- and the impression I have from the article is that she is not in serious training now. She will be 39 in August.
