So Bolt is still not the world beater many on here expect?

Bolt is still relatively new at 400m. BTW, he is just using the 400m as strength work for the 200m

        lashawn a 20.18 into a wind !

that's good, good going this early on in the season ( isn't that already quicker than jw's pb ? ), especially in a place where you normally just go to lie on a beach, sip some "malibu" & eye-up honeyz - & then get joustled by your coach tell you you've actually got a race to run

i'm sure he'll be 20-flat very soon & that augurs very well for his 400 - i got this itch in my crotch that says he's going to smash thru 44 this year !

lashawn's pb from lausanne is 20.10 ( +0.4 ) which comes out as 20.186 basic ( but he was probably worth a few 0.01's better, as he seemed to give up a little as he realised he was getting blown away by that field in the stretch - note a little lack of push at the end )

today he ran 20.18 ( -0.2 ) - unfortunately, i've no idea what that stadium's altitude is ( island quoted as having 0 - 1484m altitude ) - give him benefit of the doubt & assume it's sea-level - that comes out at 20.171 basic

he was probably worth a fraction quicker in lausanne, but he had serious competition there to push him, which he didn't today

for conjecture sake, i'd reckon he's already in 200pb shape in his 1st race of the season...
