2007 Outdoor season - athlete news

According to the latest issue of Britian's Athletics Weekly magazine, both Lashinda Demus and Chaunte Howard are pregnant. I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, so can't confirm (and apologies if reported previously).

She and boyfriend Jamel Mayrant are expecting twin sons in late spring or early summer. "I am very excited about becoming a mother," exclaims 24-year-old Demus. "This will mark a new chapter in my life, and I look forward to returning to competition in 2008 and to going for gold at the Beijing Olympics."

Howard we announced a month ago, but I believe the Demus is news to me.
