If your grasp of Cyrillic is ok you can figure out when they broadcast athletics.
All you need to know is that "Легкая атлетика"=athletics (hope that Cyrillic displays correctly here)

The url with the tv schedule is http://www.rtr-sport.ru/section.html?cid=2266
times are London+3 (Moscow), which is 8hrs ahead of NY
Have adjusted the satellite, and pick up this channel on 4!

Steffensen (really, how hard is it to spell his name right?) tends to race very lightly. His coach John Smith seems to treat him with kid gloves. I would be shocked to see him start the season this early. I doubt he'll race a huge amount in Eruope either.

Also he was injured in early March (a hamstring that was expected to keep him off the track for at least a month (http://www.smh.com.au/news/sport/hamstr ... 82502.html)).

Shall we start a list of all the other contenders in the 400m who AREN'T racing Wariner this weekend?
    Kikaya
    Merritt
    Francique
    Tyler
    Bolt
    Rock...
I was responding to your post about "Aussies running in Osaka"

Furthermore, SteffEnsen already started his season with a 45.07 whats he waiting for?

I do think Steffensen will be better than he was last season but come on sub 44 and Champion? Lets see him better his 44.7 then 44.5 then 44.2 then we can hope he is as good of a contender as those other guys.

As far as the spelling - just goes to show you if he was a contender I probably would see his name more and not forget how to spell it

Preview on the 20 Aussies running in Osaka Grand Prix:

    http://www.athletics.com.au/fanzone/380 ... 07_preview

Looks like Jamieson isn't a starter, but a few Aussies added to fields from the earlier start lists...

Official notice of Maurice Greene's withdrawal:
