Green looks like he is past it, Boldon is shot and JD never had it to begin with......

gotta go with Louise on this - IAAF was quick to condemn him, and has yet to apologize for THEIR error. Than he can formally apologize for his behavior.

Ham - as someone who 'tries' to be clever with sign-in names every so often, I thought that your nom de plume in relation to your subject matter extremely clever. Out yourself!

Don't forget that the IAAF--unfortunately--isn't through with Mr. Drummond yet. There's the little matter of USATF being required to hold a hearing in his case and then IAAF signing off on it. Remember that he's facing a "bringing the sport into disrepute" rap.

Mo's done it all already. I don't think deep down he will be as motivated as he needs to be if he is to win next year. If he wins then he will go up several notches in my opinion to be perhaps the best ever. Ato is finished. I really like him, but I think he's past it. Drummond is old, but on reflection he may figure next year. I have my reasons for saying that, some of which I'll keep to myself, but I don't think he wants to go out with the last memory of him being Paris 2003.

I certainly wouldn't rule out Mo, he did run 9.94 at Carson after all. Ato and JD have had it though IMHO

mo - probably, needs to reverse trend, still has the tools
ato - probably not, too long out of spotlight
JD - could happen, aging well, needs to atone/avenge this year's fiasco

I don't think so. I think it will be Powell, Gatlin, Lewis-Francis, and of course Brown up there carrying the fight next year in the century dash, with Capel, Patton, Suetsugu and possibly Bolt joing Gatlin in the battle in the furlong. For the quarter it will be college Americans, maybe Washington and Young, and some Jamaican guys, possibly Blackwood and Simpson. Oops, I expect B. Williams to run well also
