Re: Who is going to be the US sprinters in Athens 2004?
I think it's hard to say at this point who is going to do what. It's an Olypmic year anything can. This will really be the case this year because of the THG crap. And I think that there will be some unknows to come out and really shock the world this year. I know I hope to be one them.

For the 400 meters I think Washington, Brew, Young for the 400 meters with Taylor being a leg on the relay Brew should turn good tmes working with former 400 meter runner Antonio Pettigrew

I haven't forgotten him, just think he'll be outside the top three in the 1 and 2

no one is forgeting him I think that Gatlin, Capel, Johnson probally are our 200 meter guys for top three I would see him making it to the finals but getting maybe 4th or 5th place at the trials

I forgot about Michele Collins. She should figure in the 2/4 mix. As usual someone will come out of the woodwork and mess up our predictions, but that's one of the beauties of an Olympic year

You guys got it all wrong.. Check it out:
100m Men
Gatlin - nobody stops this guy in 04
Williams - 2nd fastest clean guy in the world
Capel - don't sleep on this guy
Sleepers: Crawford, J.J.
200m Men
Gatlin - Sub 19.80 next year.. Watch!!
Patton - Will go under 20.00
Capel - Will be close between him and Doc.
Sleepers: Crawford, J.J., Williams
100m Women
Edwards - has the realest first 70m in the world
Jones - 100m domination nearing its end..
Jenkins - if she runs more 100m before the trials
Sleepers: A. Williams, Devers, Lee
200m Women
Jones - can still easily go 22.00 or faster
Edwards - Will be a close second
Felix - Third, but it may be tight for 4th
Sleepers: Jenkins (would have made the team in 03 if not for Kelli White/Modafinil), Lee
Here are my relays
Men 4 x 100
Leadoff: Capel
2nd: Williams
3rd: Patton
Anchor: Gatlin = 37.50 These guys can do it.
Women 4 x 100
Leadoff: A.Williams
2nd: Edwards
3rd: Jenkins
Anchor: Jones = 41.65
