I guess we could keep a thread about all the fun stuff we see associated with HS Track. Here's one from today. I'm looking at the Performance Lists for the Golden South meet coming up and here's what I see:

    Event 14 Women Pole Vault
    World: 16-05.25 Stefka Kostadinova, Bulgaria
    American: 15-10 Stacy Dragila, Nike
National HS: 13-08 6/2/2001 Shalya Balentine, Morro Bay, CA
Track: 12-10 2001 Lacy Jansen, Cardinal Mooney HS
Meet: 12-06 6/3/2006 Daisy Glasser, Episcopal
Overlooking the fact that JS just broke the AR, I see some other things that might raise an eyebrow. Now wouldn't you think that whoever input this info, or 'proofed' the output would know better?

OK, they did get lucky on ONE thing! (and I guess Lacy does have the stadium record, but I'm not trusting a whole lot else in these lists)

the newspapers can't get mainstream news right

And if they can't get mainstream news right, how do you expect them to get HS track right?

Not an excuse but rather an observation.

I think the AR is fair enough, shouldn't the new one be ratified before it goes in the programs?

As for me holding that WR, I think not.
