Some places are listing that as a world junior record.
    Should be shouldn't it?
So long as Netsanet Achamo is a junior. Tilastopaja and the IAAF do not list a DOB for her.

Hattie Dean broke the British record yesterday, running 9:43.11 to take a big chunk off the old record and Helen Clitheroe was second with 9:50.23.

Gari just fell in the Prague 3000SC while running at a fast pace. He clattered his knee of the barrier. Hopefully it's nothing too serious and that he'll be back to his best soon.

Legese Lamiso of Ethiopia has just won the World Youth 2000m steeplechase title and in very impressive style, too. He out-sprinted the Kenyan duo to win by two clear seconds in 5:30.81.

I give less weight to World Youth Medals... no one at the WYCH becomes a big star.. sure there are exceptions .. but win a junior title and wake me up

That being said cherkose, choge, tariku, geneti, and songook were all champs at that leve.

But what ever happened to georgie clark, MLF, they guy who beat kennenisa back in 1999

Not to mention Veronica Campbell, Allyson Felix, Usain Bolt, Jacques Freitag, Kamila Skolimowska and Yelena Isinbayeva (?).
