Not sure what isn't clear but when I say just I mean just a few minutes ago. Not on wires yet but here is background. You could have had a bunch of Africans racing on the continent.

Ok I see. Should have said "I guess it would have been pretty tough...". Bottom line is that I am 25 minutes from Hamilton and it would have been a pretty big deal.

Yes, now it makes sense. For Canadians in general, and fans near Toronto, an unfortunate situation. However, "developing" countries should be given the chance to host such events once in a while. If they continually fail in many aspects, in putting on a proper Championship, there would be considerable pressure to stay with the "have" countries.

All very well and good but if the polite Canucks would have played the same way India did, we would have got it. Is everything corrupt?
"The whiff of scandal was in the air as Hamilton 2010 Bid Corp president Jagoda Pike complained the outcome was likely swayed by a dubious last-minute offer by New Delhi of $100,000 (U.S.) to each of the 72 member federations if their bid was successful. Pike stopped just short of calling it a bribe."

"Canada was also offering $5 million to help developing countries through a legacy program."
