Thank you, but that is reserved for Gabe and Webb coverage.

Is this the real malmo of list-serve infamy, or has he already spawned demon-hellion wannabes? Have you given up elsewhere and seek sanctuary here? You (real malmo) have fascinating opinions and insights, but the governor on your pissoffpeoplelator seems to be on the fritz most of the time.

        Re: Letters to the Editor

I appreciate the editorial replies to the reader's comments. It often gives more information, clarifies possible misconceptions and answers questions. It is also useful in catching someone in an incorrect statement. Those editorial replies are a good and essential part in the letters.

"People who don't have the courtesy to spell other people's names correctly should not be calling those people rude. It's Garry, as in Barry."

Oh spare us all please. People make mistakes and I've misspelled his name before too. Garry must get a big chuckle out of watching all this.

Bravo, a good answer and intelligent response to the original point. Garry's comments certainly do add to the letters as too many are somewhat to highly incorrect and too often missed the original point of whatever they are cricicising. Keep up the good work, Garry.

On the internet you invite bizarre people into your living room you'd never ever associate with in real life. It makes it easy to understand why and where the John Hinkleys come from.

Not that much different than it is now, but without the deafening silence when it comes to the corrupting influence of doping in our sport. TAFN, "the Bible of our sport", should be at the frontlines on this issue, not AWOL.

Oh yeah, someone else said it elsewhere - less Stacy Dragila all the time. Alright already, we get it.

Are you mocking your own reputation now? Was it not you who got into the most vile flame war ever witnessed on the listserve? I'm not for or against melmo. Mr. O'Malley has more time in the arena than the rest of us, so some of his insights are valuable. Others are not. (Same with the rest of us, if you care to challenge this assertion.)

Vile flame war, either you have quite imagination, or, as I suspect, suffered a slight that you will carry with you for years?

George, give us a break. If you want to come over here and join the rest of us, that's fine with me. I've often admired your insights and your wit. Most of what you say would fit in fine here. But don't save the good stuff for the darkwing listserv and just give us your petulance. That baseball thing you posted on darkwing today was classic malmo. I loved it. The peevish shit you've been posting here does not represent your better side, and if that's all you're going to give us, we don't want it.

                        Who's "George"?

                        Well here then:
Major League Baseball, which keeps accurate statistics on every imaginable statistical minutiae, has determined that 5-7 percent of the MLB players tested positive for steroid use?

Bud Selig has now re-released MLB player stats from 2003:

My apologies to the real malmo. You can't be he or you'd recognize your own fame.

Oh, it's the real Malmo (except for 'MaImo' who is obviously a fake).

He's just too self-absored in his own cynicism and self righteousness to actually contribute anything contructive anymore.

                            Very curious, George.

I guess that malmo missed me. I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one with an adverse opinion about his "debating" style.
