Macharia to 1.000m in ca 2.40,8 -- Jamal in lead. 2.57,5 with 400m remaining... looks like first sub-4.00 this seasons 3.13,59 (66,43) for Fomenko, who took over just off the first turn... Jamal came back on Fomenko with a very hard charge down the stretch -- finish in 4.01,45 for Jamal (63,90).

Just saw today. Actually, Jamal looked like she was simply trying to hang on to second vs. the charging Lishchynska--and then saw that she was in reach of Fomenko, gave one more little spurt.
