Wissman is coming off a NR-setting race in the 400m at MAI Galan eight days ago - a race which saw the two-time championship 200m silver-medallist (Europeans, World Indoors) race to a time of 45,12. Wissman has never raced Wariner over 200m; he is 0-2 against Spearmon in finals reached; 0-1 against Gay in finals reached; 0-1 against Bolt in finals reached; 0-1 against Merritt.

He has run the 200m six times in 2007, with victories in two of those races (including heats and semi-finals). Wariner is 0-4 lifetime against Spearmon; 0-1 against Gay in races both athletes were in a final; he has raced neither Wissman nor Merritt at 200m.

Merritt, like Wariner, is a 400m specialist (world indoor record holder) who possesses a 44,06 PB in his own right. Merritt is 0-3 against Spearmon; 0-1 against Gay; 0-1 against Bolt.

Bolt placed third in the 2006 Athletissima meet in a then-lifetime best of 19,88 seconds - also a national Jamaican record; it was a 0,11-second personal best. He has since recorded three sub-20,00 times this season as you know - his 19,75 at the Jamaican National Champs another Jamaican national record for him. Bolt is 2-4 against Gay; 1-0 against Merritt.

Gay was winning the 2006 Athletissima 200m before Carter snuck up on the outside in lane eight to take the race. Gay finished in a then-PB of 19,70. He went on to record three more sub-20,00 times culminating with a 19,68 in Stuttgart. He has since run two more sub-20,00 times in 2007 - his most recent mark a 19,62 PB (and #2 All-time) at USATF. Gay is 12-5 on Spearmon in races where they have both reached the final; Gay is 4-2 on Bolt; Gay is 1-0 on Wariner in races both athletes have reached the final; Gay is 1-0 on Merritt.
