Yeah, Darold sure looked great with that effort.

Darold did not make the podium in the 400 even with JW not in the race and even though the meet was probably the best he had the whole year. Another 4x400 gold medalist (and 400 Sliver) also did not make the team (not even the final).

Steffensen gave Kikaya the best run for his money, staying within striking distance until the final 10-20m... appeared to surge back on Kikaya, but couldn:t find another gear to switch.
