Had a dream Riley ran a 12.55 today. Ok, now I:ve awoken to see these guys freezing on the line and ready to run a 2.33 first 1.000m.

        Leader: 2.36,9 at 1.000m. Request was 2.33.

Ritz has a gap on Teg and is running with the Africans at 4.12ish at 1.600m.

4.44,7 for Ritz with 8 to go; 4.45,0 for Teg with 8 to go.

2.000m for Ritz and Teg: 5.16

Ritz, Teg and now Riley have bunched up together following the Africans at 6 laps into the race.

3.000m roughly 7.57 for Teg, who has gapped Ritz by 0,5 seconds... Riley has dropped back another second.

Teg making that long transitional drive to first group, Ritz can:t hold and is struggling to keep up with Teg. 9.00,6 with four laps to go for Teg.

Teg is 12m back with 3 laps remaining (10.06 for lead Africans).

Ritz won:t die off and has come back on Teg with 1.000m remaining.

11.14,3 for Teg with 800m remaining.

12.18 or so for Teg with 400m remaining.

        Soi (13.10,22 - 2.33 final 1.000m)

Perhaps there was a sheep blocking the bottom portion of the 3.

My natural thought...what happened to Teg??? After that 3:34.25 1500m PR I thought he'd be ready to rip one and certainly be competitive with a 13:10 race....???

Cold, damp, windy and 2200ft elevation. I figure Lausanne is about 10s slow on a good day, today was worth at least 15s.

That race was a bit of a yawn fest. I thought watching the pacemaker was like watching Tigger run :!:

Hoping for a sub-13 in Rome on Friday.

The wind really wasnt any problem, but it was COLD--much too cold for a fast time. Officially, I think it was 52F but it felt colder in the stands. Teg looked really good until about 4 laps to go, then was fighting to maintain and looked like he said "the heck with it"; Ritz was strong over the last 3 laps or so.

Starting temperature of top 50 all-time for various events. The graph represents running averages: ie, avg top 5, avg top 10 ... avg top50
