    Hmmmm [US vs. Jamaica 4 x 1]

Assume that Spearmon & Gay run middle legs for US because of their performances in 2005, 2006 & 2007 barrring injury. Samuels' 10.33 at Pan Am should omit him from consideration.

Dixon should run 1st & Jelks last. The only questions are will Martin or X - Man
run well enough at London, Stockholm & relay camp to bump one or both of them?

Powell & Bolt have NEVER EARNED A MEDAL AT OG & WCh IN 100, 200 OR 4 x 100, Spearmon was 2nd & Gay was 4th in 2005 at 200, SO I VOTE FOR US.
    none

Considering the US' and Jamaica's recent stick-changing record, I'd say the British team have a good chance of winning. They have the fastest squad in years, plus they actually know how to handle the baton.

don't forget that stunning 37.59 that a wally-tyson based squad did year - a time which no other country has ever got within 0.1s

i'd expect a time like that if they get the baton round cleanly : that woud be a time too fast for the brit squad, no matter how slick their changes ( i tend to use france's 37.79 as a sort of limit for 4 non < 10 guys with slickest exchanges possible )

jama though, have potential to go mid-37s with safa & bolt ~ equal to tyson & wally

The U.S. will be running two men's teams in London; Stockholm situation up in the air at this point.
