Larry was running with the leaders near until the end of the second turn when he just stopped. Seemed to be limping a bit. This could hurt the US relay.

Oh I think we will manage to find someone to take his place if he is not healthy.

45.51 may be considered "alive", but I don't know about "kicking".

Bahamas is a 4x4 medal favorite for Osaka; he's got every motivation to be in the best shape he can, even if he's not an individual factor anymore.

Sure, but he probably won't be as good.

I guarantee that if Larry does not got o Osaka to run the open or the relay, we will be able to replace him no problem. Darold Williamson comes to mind. He might not run a great open as he has been very up and down the past few years, but I bet you he will run a great relay leg. Andrew Rock seems to have kicked his sick bug and is rounding back into form again, he went 46.10 in Madrid and then 45.28 in Monaco. Either of these will be great for the relay. Put them on lead-off and watch Taylor-Merrit-Wariner destroy the rest of the field.

Who said anything about Osaka? I was referring to the Pan-Am relay.

                      err...

there's a dude who ran 44.57iwr who'll be sat twiddling his thumbs, slurping an ice-cream whilst sat in the bleachers when they're wondering whose the mysterious "4th guy" to lead-off...

and that guy should probably give up the hurdles since he can't manage to go over with both legs.

as for the bahamas, chris brown broke 45 at their ntl's, moncour has run 45.1 this season and andrae williams has run 45.2. no one else on the IAAF top lists, so i'm not sure how that'll pan out. However, they still could be the #2 behind the USA(who could probably send the E team and still scrape gold..). Jamican NCAA star Richardo Chambers has shut his season down, and Usian Bolt probably won't be able for 4x4 duty which leaves: Sanjay Ayre, Michael Blackwood as the only jamicans under 45.6 open who would be avaliabe.
