Just because somebody improves a 1500 time does not equate to improving an 800 time by the same degree. But , reconsidering! After that last 800 in 2004, El G certainly was capable of sub 1.44. Also makes you wonder what Lagat could do in 800
that's why i said "crude estimate"
i have him as a ~ 1'43.25 - 1'43.5 guy at his prime using better methods, which is quick enough to make him an 800 guy if he chose to be so called ( same with el g )
