    In general that's not bad.
Hate the absence of : and . in the biographies though.

I find the lists much harder to read.... too much stuff crammed into too little space.

One suggestion I have is for them to lose the flags.

            I'm guessing that's just a temporary glitch.

Looks like the fantasy athletics game on the IAAF site is now open for registrations, but the selection of athletes part is not yet functional.

The new site is horridly slow to open, even w/ decent high-speed. Fortunately, they've given us a fix. It's not easy to see, perhaps, but buried up at the top of the page is "accessible version" which gives you the page sans a lot of the pretty stuff. Nice way to go if you don't subscribe to form-over-function thinking.

Thank you, gh. You know, I'm on that web site almost every day looking for one thing or another, and I've never noticed that "accessible version" thingie. (The typography and background don't exactly draw one's attention to it.) The accessible version seems a lot cleaner and easier to use; I think that's going to become my first click on that site unless the page I'm looking for is immediately accessible from the front page without going through another menu.

And now that I've written and posted that, let me re-open the post and add the good news and the bad news. The good news, I discovered upon re-visiting the site, is that it will remember your preference from the last visit and put you right into the accessible version if that's where you were when you last visited it (at least within the same Windows session). But I then discovered the bad news, which is that at least some of the sub-menus within the site, which you need to get to certain pages, are either very slow to pull down or won't appear at all. I think I may just stick to the graphic version.
