I hope he's ok. The 800 may have been too much. He really dug down that last 100.

It's deja vu all over again. Aghhh!!! How often have we seen some hot-shot who's "on a tear" suddenly laid low by injury or illness?

Aw, shit! I was getting really excited about Webb's medal prospects in Osaka.

Like everyone else, I hope this isn't serious.

          If true a disappointment, not a shock . . .

I guess I was implying that not all reported injuries that result in meet pullouts are really injuries, or at least serious ones. In any event, time will tell here . . .

Hopefully he has just decided to rest the jets for the next couple of weeks. He needs a good rest now before Osaka. There is very little to be gained by additional racing. As of last Saturday he is as ready as he is going to get.

I was gonna say . . . but you got there first. Sometimes that's just "plan12," for bailing on a meet that doesn't meet some other criteria for the training plan....
                  gracious exit.

Well, I have a report that says that Bubka can still qualify for the Ukrainian team for Osaka!

My tin foil hat is out of whack...so can someone point me towards the actual report or quote.

Is Allen Webb injured or did he just pull out of a meet?

Or now that he is the mile AR holder and a legit 800 guy, is his work on earth done and perhaps there has been an ascenson.

Question is still, how injured, how much injured, etc.
