wasn't defar supposed to be in the race? anyways great run for kastor peaking at the right time, definetly can medal at the worlds 10k if she run like today.
very impressive for Kastor -- less than 1 sec off her pr (14:51.62) which she set in 2000! She is in very good form -- I really did not think she would get back to this speed at 3k/5k, given her age (34 -- not ancient, of course, but still, it's been a while since she ran that 14:51) and her focus on the marathon in recent years. I hope she can be competitive for a medal in the Osaka 10k.

Yes, indeed. She didn't look anywhere near this good in Rome...nice to see that she's gained a faster gear in the last 3 weeks...
