    Yearly best for Thorkildsen 89.49 (293-7) . He has not thrown hard for three weeks.
    He took only three throws. His back felt much better, only a litttle pain.
    So good news for him and Norway (and me too).

      Good effort from Bannister to get second. Aussie on his first competitive trip to Europe (I think). Backs up his 83m throw from earlier in the year down under...
