So back to the matter at hand, could someone kindly, if possible, furnish the 200/300 splits from the Galan 400?

        MJones: 10.65/21.62/49.59

*I think we all know why.
Actually there is ONE huge oversight here, and that is the fact that Torrence ran 49 flat from the blocks, in a relay. Surely that is far more worthy of mention than any Flojo running-start split [which simply should not be discussed, period].

Brilliant Felix this girl has the class of a Marion Jones - well...ahhm... anyway, me think she could pull a 200/400/4*100/4*400 @ the next OG

how about richards pulling off a first ever 100/400 next year. Now wouldn't that be something.

Almost impossible, given the timetable. The semifinals of the 400 are sandwiched between the semis and the final of the 100 on the same evening.

The time it takes that link to load on a 6 Mbps connection is a spoiler,

I don't think it's fair to include a relay time made by anyone. I also think the asterisk and closing remarks are uncalled for.
This relay time is important as it shows what she might have done on the flat was as good if not better than many of the others. Bryzgina (PB 48.27) ran 47.8 in that relay, as did Nazarova (PB 49.11). As far as the asterick I'll assume you were joking!

The difference is that Sanya and Allison are getting their marks in the same meet. None of the people you've listed have ever done 100/400 doubles to my knowledge.
I don't think so. Neither ran more than one race in their PB's. Sanya did do 11.05 and 49.72 in the space of one hour, I'll grant you that. FloJo did her 400r time 40 minutes after her 4x100R leg. I also think M. Jones did 2 legs on one day in her 2000 Olys.

Thanks! That means a very slowish last 100, but who cares, they're gonna race at half the distance in a matter of days.

That's not a bad idea. Something about her running style reminds me of Jearl Miles-Clark. I'd bet if she ran the 800 this month, she'd run a 1:58.x.
