Ha! This from the coach whose country hosted the recent and unlamented train-wreck in Mombasa.

How do you say "Chutzpah" in Swahili?

the 5k, 10k, marathon and race walks will be hugely affected by the excessive dew points...

i suggest tactics will be driven by the weather, with the better adapted athlete having an edge..

bekele crumbling at mombassa, did he learn his lesson, has he trained in excessive dew points to adapt more than those who have not trained in them...

say the 10k, bekele fears a fast early pace, will the kenyans test him, by having some one go early from far out, basically challenge bekele and the other leaders to go with them...

weather is weather, and live with it....

            sprinters will LOVE it though

Meanwhile, world half marathon record holder Samuel Kamau Wanjiru has opted out of the national athletics team.
