Possible world record by Vlasic. She's in a league of her own.
If you're ever walking down the beach and you see a girl dressed in a bikini made out of seashells, and you pick her up and hold her to your ear, you can hear her scream.

I'm still lost as to why Hellebaut hasn't turned up this outdoor season!

She was UNBELIEVABLE indoors, 2'05 first time with zero competition in the Euro Indoors- 9 cm's better than the next 2 athletes- Di Martino and Veneva.

I wonder can she turn up in Osaka, refreshed and renewed?

why Di Martino so low she's ranked 2nd in world. i can put Slaserenko, Berquist and maybe Beita ahead of her but after that !?!?!
            i deserve extra credit

Blanka is wihout any doubt favourite No1 for gold, but i wouldn't underestimated others, especially Slesarenko, i think she'll in the best fit in Osaka....

                btw
Stefka Kostadinova jump WR in Rome WC 1987, it'll be something unbeliveable, if someone on this WC beat that result..
Blanka this year has fantastic result, here are the videos of hers all personal records this year:

Anna Chicherova looking the best she has in the last 2 years. Looks like a real contender for the podium.

Let's hope she can avoid injuries between now and the final.

I should bite my tongue, since I suppose maybe that's not really funny. Chicherova has a long history of injuries and when she's interviewed in the Russian press, she frequently jokes that she can't remember the last time that nothing was hurting. But two years ago in Helsinki, Sleserenko somehow managed to seriously injure herself after arriving in the athletes' village. I'm not sure if I ever heard the full story, but I gather she slipped in the tub or somesuch, and wound up with a hairline fracture in her ankle. So I'll just hope all the gals stay safe this week.
