Please explain why an Italian, a Brit, a Turk and a Canadian (more than 50% of the panel) are biased towards the U.S. Oh, I've got it, must be the big bucks! :-)

And don't forget that a Greek made it to a number one (no American female javelin thrower though with the exception of Kreiner who did win over both Eve and Menendez at the Pan-American Games). By the way, delighted I may be but not so delighted by Manjiani's absence from any competition during the year.

This sounds like the Coalition of the Billing. Next thing we will find out is that Halliburton is behind TandFnews. I always wondered who actually went on those tours.

Re: Track and Field News World Rankings
hey lefteriqis,
I know that why you are not so delighted for that Albanian born girl Mirela Manjani which recently with 66.52m gave to greek's team and to greece the biggest victory and the only gold medal in "Paris 2003" WC. ALBANIA always beat your ass in greece and everywhere. You know what I am saying?

Pretty sure it gets explained in the mag. I'll let you know when I get mine in January.

So, what's all that about? You sound bitter.
Everyone who follows Track and Field in detail knows that Ms Manjiani is indeed Albanian born. Albanians should very proud of her. Greeks should be very proud of her too. The whole planet should be very proud of her for that matter or of anyone who accomplishes greatness with hard work and persistence.
Nevertheless, keep in mind that it is Ms Manjiani who after her victory grabbed a Greek flag (and only a Greek flag) and was going around the stadium celebrating. Since I am born Greek, that indeed made me a little more happy and proud than the rest of the planet.
Did you see her holding an Albanian flag? I personally think she should and she should remember her roots more often in general.
By the way, part of my family is also Albanian (and Turkish and some type of Greek I guess). Are you Albanian?
Finally I don't appreciate (not to mention understand) you comments about "ALBANIA always beat your ass". "Den kolaei pouthena" as we say in Greek. Albanians and Greeks are brothers, brother.
Cheers
