With the cloud cover, I don't know that the eclipse will be visible. That having been written, I just looked out the window, and there are some patches of clear sky, so it's possible that we'll see some of the eclipse. Of course, in the stadium, we'll have a limited view of the sky.

The moon is almost gone downunder - glowing a bright Dutch orange. If there wasn't a World Championships on, I'd be driving out into the darkness to get a fantastic look.

Here in the PDT zone the view is great, but I would imagine that close to the horizon, with the full moon generally looking huge, the eclipse is spectacular. Hope the clouds over Osaka subside.

I looked up at the right time and didn't see the moon at all. But my view of much of the sky was blocked by the stadium itself. I've no idea what was generally visible in Osaka.
