Should we really be happy that Christine Ohrguru(?) won?
Honestly, I don't much about her situation, but what is the difference betw her and Thanou and Kenteris?
This is not a cynical question, but a serious one....as I said, I don't know much about her case.....why is she is different than the disgraced Greeks?

Something to not, Trotter winds up the first American home and ran low 50....not actually that bad!

The difference between Christine and the Greeks is that Christine missed a few tests. The Greeks just flat-out avoided being tested full stop.
ShaunP gives a more detailed run-down here.

Why is this such a sensitive issue for you Jaack?
I don't read every frickin' thing on the forum. I certainly don't read every post, so don't be so presumptious.
Yes, I know she was suspended for missing drug tests. That's what I know.
So why is her case different/better than Thanou?
If you don't have a good answer, then just don't answer and go away yourself.

in uk we have a system where you have to let the authorities know where you are for one hour each day 7 days a week 52weeks of the year. testers can turn up unannounced at any time to test you. if you are stuck in traffic, at the shop on a PR event for uk athletics (as i believe christine was on one occasion) you are supposed to phone the authorities and tell them. over an 18 month period christine was not in the place she said she would be. on the last occasion she had gone to train and found there was a school sports day on so went to another track. she forgot to call anyone. there is no obligation for the testers to let you know they are waiting. christine would not have found out she had missed a test untill days later
she was wrong and should have been banned but there was never any suggestion that she took drugs.
firstly i'm not sure greece has this system but thanou and KK deliberately lied about there location said they were in one country when they are in another, on one occasion when testers actually found them their coach attacked the testers and all the athletes ran off !!!
it too the IOC to try and test them in athens, when they where informed of the test they didn;t show up and then staged a motorbike crash and got themselves hospitalised in order to avoid being tested.
if anyone can't see the difference then thay are being willfuly obduratei deserve extra credit
