    without the gross deceleration to 'get his steps', the 8th 'should' have been no worse than 4.4, 9th 4.5 and run-in 4.8 for a grand total savings of at least 0.6 = 47.0! :shock:
    Probably even ,2 or .3 faster, because it uses up much more energy to slow down and reaccelerate than to just maintain one's speed.
