I was looking at the results of the recent 200 m races in eTN. All of the men ran faster second 100s, ranging from 0.4 to 0.7 seconds faster than their first 100. But women ran between 0.3 faster (Felix and Mothersill) to 0.2 slower (Campbell) in the second 100. Most were in the 0.0 to 0.1 difference between first and second 100. Seems strange that there would be this big of a difference between the sexes. Any explanations out there?
