Preview Function

Frequent visitors have asked for edit and preview functions on the message boards. Here is the first of the enhancements. I've tested it but we may run into something I've missed once everyone else starts using it. If you get and error or odd behavior please send me an email ( [email protected] ) about the problem with as much detail as you have time to provide. For the uninitiated- "It doesn't work" is not very helpful when debugging.

This is an excellent refinement to the Board. One can only hope posters will take the trouble to preview their messages and perhaps do some proofreading.

I also assume that one can now spot the problem when the message goes past the width of the screen. Not sure how that happens exactly but it does periodically.

It usually happens when people post a link to a really long URL. Even with previewing the post, I don't think there is any way around this (happens to quite a few forums).


Still, preview reply is a good function to have and thanks, Ben, for adding it! Good work! (I'm about to use it right now....!)

That's the next enhancement on the list. This one is just preview and edit before posting.
