a lot of red cards today! Kim G is out with one now.

Is IAAF trying to save through paying out so little price money as possible and dq so many as possible??

Maduaka is also dq now! :?

!!!!!!! A green card has now been given, so no DQ

Complete farce. Is this the same thing that happened in the Women's 100mh ?

Perhaps they've discovered the sensors in the FS blocks aren't configured properly? So starter getting signals he shouldn't be?

Or perhaps they've had enough of this snooze-fest of an event all year and decided to do what they could to raise the level of drama at least one iota.

Was this an issue in the 100h; I am guessing that it was not.

Never seen anything like it. Gevaert was DQ'ed, sat out a subsequent false start, and then was reinstated!

Unlikely. I rewatched the 100m false starts and Jones, Kallur and McLellan all moved well before the other competitors.

truw but athletes have to take some responsibility as well. most false starts were blatant even if they were being held to long
