He wasn't given a reason for his firing so there's no way he'd know it was because of the dog incident. That's one of the few great things about TX is that you can fire people for no given reason.

It's been over a year now, so I doubt he'd try anything stupid, we do have a castle doctrine law in TX after all. I'm not even sure he knows our name, much less our address, because of the way it was reported to the sheriff. However, we don't walk down that street just in case.
