    I always use "goodie" but I see that by a score of 6.93M to 5.46M google hits that goody is slightly more common.

        But if you Google "Goodie Bag" and "Goody Bag," you find that "Goodie Bag" wins big -- 1,060,000 to 455,000. (On the other hand, Goody wins big if the search is for "Goody, Goody" (vs. "Goodie, Goodie") or "Oh, Goody" (vs. Oh, Goodie).)

        (I don't really have too much time on my hands, but I can easily understand why a reader of this post might not believe that. )
