Craig won the handicap mile at the Devonport carnival yesterday running off scratch (ie the full distance). Story
The report doesn't mention it but this was done on a grass track. I couldn't find a photo of anybody actually running but you can see the track on the inside of the cycling track. The race was run in conjunction with cycling events and woodchopping as part of a series of similar carnivals in Tasmania.
