A local message to Gatlin: JUST SAY NO TO STEROIDS....
Someone in his neighbourhood took that to heart and took it too far, unfortunately:

Knowing what you know at this point -- that Gatlin has professed innocence and is awaiting a positive outcome of his CAS case -- would you encourage him if you saw him, stop and tell him off or would you walk past him and continue as if he were simply another person?
This should give you different fodder to mull through, because his case is not yet closed.

Even in Pensacola, where many still know him as the hometown hero, there is criticism.
"I woke up one morning at my parents house, and written on the side of my vehicle there was 'Just Say No to Steroids,'" Gatlin said. "That really hurt.
"I wiped it off and went in the house and broke down. It was painful."
