Looks like 8.59s at almost 90m! That's going to be an awesome WR. Note that lane 6 seems to have a big, tall guy sporting Jamaican colors...

Maybe that's why the picture was sent back. Perhaps it's future-Eldrick instructing us to remind them that they need a gauge.

Or maybe, in the future, global warming has driven wind to extinction -- hence there's no need for a gauge?

JRM, you should have a better feel for global warming than that. Key element is that there is great retention of incident radiation. Thus, since much radiation is in the tropical belt, more heat has to be carried away from the lower latitudes to the higher latitudes (hence warming will be greater closer to the poles, in general). Moving this heat almost certainly implies more wind at times.
