Is it almost like tag time dominance with these guys or is it my imagination. Not long ago Cantwell seem to be da guy, then Hoffa wins worlds and now Adam Bomb has exploded. Wouldnt that be like really groovy if the all threw72- 73 feet in that meet in China. Have they ever?

That would be interesting. When was the last time throwers performed close to their PRs in an OG SP final? Nerves affecting the big guys?

Last time would probably be Seoul...4 guys over 70', 2 over 73'.

It's a HUGE throw - previous indoor pb was 22.07m

(22.40m is now the only one of the top 8 performances not from the 1980's; six of those are shared by Randy Barnes and Ulf Timmermann of the GDR).
