Billy Mills came from the Rez. He was an early hero and Olympic Champion and WR holder for the 6 mile in 27:11.6. B.P. ( before PED's )
These wonderful kids have strikes against them that most kids in America will never see.

Mills is also the national spokesperson for Running Strong for American Indian Youth, a charitable organization that helps poor Native American people meet their needs for food, health care, clothing, water, and shelter, and teaches them how they can become self-sufficient and take pride in their heritage.
