Unless of course Lynn is a man's name...which it likely is...I got a funny feeling that 33:50.2 would have been the world record not so many years ago. Oops...sorry. Where is that damn edit function Ben.

That's an interesting and not too shabby range of times, Neuropsych.
I'm guessing you didn't go from marathoning in your teens to sprinting in your more recent years. Seems like a bit of mid-range potential got missed in there somewhere.

Why don't we say the transition from 100 meters to the marathon was a bumpy one!

I was not elite and seldom post, but I love the sport and am lurking continually.

880 2:06.1 Because of my lack of speed a great thrill.
                mile 4:32.6
                2 miles 9:24.8
                3 miles 14:36
                6 miles 30:56
All of the above were on cinder or dirt tracks in Canada in the early 1960s.
Marathon: Between 2:32 and 2:30 seven times with ten others under 2:40 between 1962 and 1975.

Seems like you and I are much the same when it comes to athletics.
About the same PB all the way through.
Even in the DT and SP we are almost exactly the same.
I've never timed my 40m but my flying 30m are 3.15 and my 60m are 7.3. Just around your times.
