    Good luck steve and mike. All those times I bet you two watched the prefontaine movies and dreamed about running at Hayward Field.........well guess what, IT'S COMING TRUE.

    Yes, both are in, if they accept the invitations, and have the approval of their coaches.

    Prefontaine Classic Prep Milers

    Since the Pre Classic began inviting the best high school runners to compete in the Bowerman Mile, the list has become pretty impressive: Michael Stember, Gabe Jennings, Don Sage, Alan Webb, and this year, Mike McGrath (4:05.28 on 5/3 in the McChesney Mile--very windy and rainy), and Steve Magness (4:02.99=, leading wire-to-wire).
