  • Attention Stat Geeks

IAAF turns out nice stat books for journalists at all its major champs; the one for Valencia is available online as a PDF

I highly doubt that anyone on this site will be interested in such minutiae; as far as I can tell, there simply are no stat geeks here. I could be wrong, however.

Thanks fantastic... a huge pile of info...

a little curious that the guide would not include a bio for Mottram despite him being one of the few Aussies to make regular WCI appearances...

Exhibit A for this is the assessment of wind readings for the Mexico City Olympic jumps.

Incredible. Thank you sir. Took nearly a whole ream of paper. Now I have to figure out what kind of binding to use.

Save the pdf to your mobil telefon, and have it with you at meets. Works quite well and dosn:t weigh anything extra.

I find it hard to believe there is +0.0 interest...

I think someone finally got my dry humor... and he/she didn't even need an emoticon to do it. Great shot Vault, owe ya a case of beer for that one.

That is a true example of stat geekspeak

                            You're confusing geekspeak and nerdword.
