My father tells a story from Lille, 1995. He was with a Brit tour group watching the Europa Cup. Sitting close to the TJ pit he witnessed Jonathon Edwards' 18.43m and was so shocked all he could do was point and shout words to the effect of "OMG, Holy ****". Those around him asked, "What Ron, what?". They'd all missed it as they were scribbling down results from the scoreboard and cross-referencing them against the form chart

EPelle - you may be a stat/nerd but I must say your latest blog is very impressive...

TAFNY! There are, of course, more stat-geeks on this site than anywhere else in the known universe!! Last time we had a serious geek discussion, quite a few here admitted to actually keeping stat notebooks of their own. Not that I would, of course . . .

Cool. One reader! ;-) Incorporated some of this stat-geek-rich stuff IAAF has to offer into the men:s 800m preview. If you checked in on it more than 30 minutes ago, it:s now updated.

Unfortunately, someone just clicked on to the site by way of Google searching for: "grit breuer nude". Oki doki.

Word of advice from someone with experience.....don't put the term 'Golden Girls' anywhere on your site or you'll really get blown away by what ppl are looking for..

Nice diversion, but now on to the topic: Text version can fit on an PDA without killing off your device:s memory. It:s a slow read and tiny, but the formatting is nearly the same as the manual.

I:ve found the IAAF information quite useful -- specifically when searching on a key-word ("800m" for example).
