  • 400m runner Michael Bingham switches from USA to GB

    Britain's newest import
Bingham was able to gain UK allegiance because his father, Norris, is British. Bingham senior had little to do with his five children growing up in the USA and returned to Nottingham, UK. Bingham junior was therefore left to raise his siblings alongside mother Mollissie in North Carolina, USA.

Bingham's transfer of allegiance was processed on April 30 and he intends to compete at the British Olympic Trials in Birmingham in July.

Hey... I've seen that kit someplace before

As I understand it Michael was injured late last year and has been red shirting at Wake Forest this year with training plans to run the summer season.
