Well, she DID get pregnant and give birth. 2'03 seems like a nice start, particularly when she just trailed Kliuka!

She ran 2:02 this winter and was 5th in the Russian Champs. I don't enjoy watching her race - I can't think of too many races where she hasn't caused some sort of obstruction or shoved some athlete out of the way.

Really hope the Russians don't choose Cherkasova either for Beijing, but something tells me the selectors won't have learnt their lessons. I hope Zbrozhek will get selected in the 800m for Beijing, along with Kotlyarova and Klyuka.
