    England showing some wheels!
How about the PR for Willard, who is a primarily steeplechaser. That's very nice.
Also 4:12.33 PR in the 1500

Willard is turning into a regular Jill-of-all-trades. Her range is considerable, especially for her age. She's competitive at everything she tries.

And a bit OT, but keep an eye on Felnagle, the UNC junior. She ran 4:08 the other day, bringing down her excellent PB from last year's NC's by more than a second and proving that was no fluke. She's been competitive from 800 to 5000.

And Felnagle ran a pretty good XC race at Prenats (cannot remember where she was at NCAAs). Willard really burst on to the scene last year, with a real coming out party at Penn, where she was the strongest runner on several record-setting relays. My guess is that she hits the 9:20s, but faster than that seems like too much of a reach this year, but she has already run 9:3x and might be just building still.

Willard has just turned 24. As a competitor she's practically brand new. We really have no idea of her potential since we keep having to rewrite the narrative almost whenever she toes the line. And the women tend to continue to improve for a good many years. This is something of a paradox (at least to me) since they also reach athletic maturity earlier than men.
