Shana's always been pretty electrifying on relays. I've had the fortune of watching/calling many of her races the past few years, and she is always quite a spectacle to watch.
I hate to say it, but her stress fracture back in the winter shortly after her huge 500m was probably a big blessing in disguise. The past couple years she's really attacked the indoor season, and by the time outdoor NCAAs come along, she seems a bit fatigued. Not competing as heavily in indoors, in my opinion, helped her to peak much better for NCAAs this year. The ultimate result: 400m/4x400 wins.
(Plus, her time away from racing during indoors helped her fulfill the all important deejaying duties at the meets)
