I checked the IAAF list. Powell's only mark is 12.77 for 3rd @ Doha.

Perry has NO HURDLE MARKS FOR 2008. Only 23.15 for 200 @ Mt.S.A.C.

What is happening here?

Talent doesn't equal performance...she has yet to show race fitness this year at the 12.5 range

I don't know man...not running a single race in all of 2008 tell me something more serious is going on...I don't expect her to be top 5...matter of fact, I'll go out on a limb and say she might have a tough time making the final. The hurdles is so much about timing and veteran or not, the lack of races will cost her.

I doubt it. She wasn't a sure thing to make the LJ team and she never entered the hurdles as a back-up. It must be that for her it was LJ or nothing.
