    Bonjour Angle Kurt,
Reading your thread about Henry THOMAS, I am
really shocked to learn he is serving a life
    sentence in prison.
    It is terrible...
    What happened to him?

sergey bubka would be julio cesar chavez joe louis and ricardo lopez ro longevity at the top, bubka won all pole vault world championshis from 83 - 97 louis was champ for 13 years, chavez and lopez could also be edwin moses for their long unbeaten streaks, also sugar ray robinson (walker smith) who won 72 in a row before losing to lamotta.

    >Who would be Carlos MONZON ?.. he died in a car accident as well, coming back from a work release from prison, so maybe henry thomas who is serving a life sentence in prison, he was said to be a light trainer sparring 3 times a week, never more than 4 rounds at a time, so maybe kip keino who according to the lore of running trained 3 days a week, 4-8 x a quarter on monday and wednesday and 4 x half on friday, also ran 6 in the morning on those days as did monzon on his workout days.

how about anthony hembrick and miruts yifter, hembrick did not show up for his fight at the olympics, because he missed the bus and yifter in the 1972 olympics, missed his race because he was in the bathroom when it started.

how about wilfred benitez and alan webb, both accomplished great things at young ages, benitez is the youngest boxing champion ever at age 17 and webb ran a 353 mile.

    >Mike Tyson would be Ben Johnson

I realize that this is all in fun but, despite Johnson's pariah status, that is actually an offensive comparison. Tyson is a psychopathic criminal that has spent some time in the big house. Various assaults and rape. Maybe there is a sprinter that can be compared to him but it certainly isn't Ben Johnson. Tyson bit a body part off another boxer for crying out loud.
