USA Red won with Lauryn Williams nearly being chased down by Debbie Ferguson again! 42.61 for USA Red. No idea who was on what leg.

Ferguson is such a BEAST on anchor! JEBUS! Enjoyed the jokes between her an Lauryn afterwards.

Ania ran nicely, Douglas was VERY disappointing and USA prove they can get the baton around in many different formations. Just not particularly swift!

She opened up distance on Gevaert  Considering this was Britain's 'A' team, it wasn't a stupendous performance. But if they iron out their mistakes, they will be right up there battling for bronze.

              Still believe her 11.05?

As much as I believe Shelly Ann Fraser's, Stewarts, Edwards' etc etc :P

I'm pretty sure the A team involves Kwakye not Turner on the opener. Proof that Douglas really wasn't going well tonight-> Freeman hit her mark but had to really pull back and wait for the baton. I think there was definitely something up there. Half a second at least can be found with Jeanette, better run from Montell and a better exchange or two!

                    LOL, good answer!

And you're right re: Kwakye - almost forgot about Britain's world silver medallist! Although, as good as I think she can potentially be, her SB is only 0.01 quicker than Turner's. But you're right - there's definitely another half second to be found from the British girls' 4x100m.

Not particularly swiftly by the U.S. standards of course...

I assume Felix was scheduled to run the relay that scratched?

Correct. As was Muna, Torri and Hooker.

Apparently Muna sprained a muscle warming up (hence her withdrawal from the 200m).

America's double world champion Allyson Felix left the stadium refusing to discuss her limp 200m performance which so enraged her that she didn't take her place in the 4x100m relay.
