    Ayalew won in 8:35.50 WL
Eurosport commentary possibly the worst I have ever heard for a single event. Winner, who was in the top 2 throughout, was not identified until the finish!

Ayalew set a world-lead of 8:35.50. Jen Rhines was a tad disappointing.

I know. It's unforgivable considering that they have their names on their bibs. He seemed to be able to identify all of the other African athletes...

German commentators said she was not on the start list so they had trouble identifying her (and believe me - it's hard to read the name on the bib if you're looking at a tiny monitor)

I doubt it. Looks like she was doing a training races to prepare for the Olympics. She won in London and comes back with this race. Not bad. Hopefully, when she tapers her second race can be even better.

Knew when she won in London I shouldn't pick her here in the Fantasy League, but I'm never perfect anyways. Might as well start picking people I like.

Well it was when she ran about 20sec faster at this meet last year and she won at CP, at a canter, clocking a similar time.

The Polish commentators couldn't identify her, either.
